In celebration of World Diabetes Day 2025, Cedar and Ruby Health Alliance, in collaboration with the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), is set to host a one-day free health screening for Type 2 Diabetes on November 14, 2025.
This year’s theme, “Diabetes and Wellbeing,” emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and getting regular medical checkups for early detection and prevention.
Diabetes is one of the most common and fastest-growing health challenges in Nigeria. Many individuals are unaware they have Type 2 diabetes or hypertension until serious complications develop.
This event is designed to bridge that knowledge and healthcare gap by providing free testing, medical advice, and public health education — empowering individuals to live healthier lives.
Participants will benefit from:
Free screening for Type 2 diabetes and hypertension
One-on-one consultations with certified medical professionals
Health education sessions focused on prevention, lifestyle management, and early detection
Community engagement on wellness and chronic disease management
If you or someone you know is struggling with Type 2 Diabetes or Hypertension, this is your chance to take control of your health.
Come and Learn, Act, and Save a Life.
We are proud to announce that this event will be featured on the World Map of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) — highlighting Cedar and Ruby Health Alliance’s commitment to promoting global health awareness.
